SOBRE
Our lab develops new pathways to synthesize small molecules for studying chemical, pharmacological and biological function in the context of the living.
To achieve this, the AFKeppler lab focuses on creative solutions to modify simple and accessible building blocks, taking advantage of their chiral and structural complexity to produce new compounds in complex libraries, which are being used to study structure-biological functional relationships, with the aim of understanding aspects of several diseases, in particular, neurodegeneration.
